N\u00e5r den er herdet, er polymernettverket l\u00e5st. Varme gj\u00f8r den ikke til v\u00e6ske. I stedet vil silikon ved h\u00f8ye nok temperaturer <strong>nedbryte<\/strong>, <strong>r\u00f8ye<\/strong>, eller mister mekaniske egenskaper \u2013 men det flyter ikke.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dette er den f\u00f8rste misforst\u00e5elsen som for\u00e5rsaker spesifikasjonsfeil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>N\u00e5r folk sp\u00f8r om \u201csilikons smeltetemperatur\u201d, pr\u00f8ver de vanligvis \u00e5 forst\u00e5 \u00e9n av tre ting:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Maksimal driftstemperatur<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bearbeidings-\/herdingstemperatur<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Feiltemperatur under varmeeksponering<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Det er forskjellige tall. Ingen smelting skjer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nedbrytningsomr\u00e5de (ikke smeltende)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Over omtrent <strong>300\u2013350 \u00b0C<\/strong>, silikongummi begynner \u00e5:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Mister strekkfasthet<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Herdes eller blir spr\u00f8<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Danner overflateaske eller silikarester<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Dette er termisk nedbrytning, ikke smelting. sp\u00f8rsm\u00e5let<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Flytende silikongummi blir ofte misforst\u00e5tt som \u201clavtsmeltende\u201d fordi den starter som en v\u00e6ske.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I virkeligheten:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>LSR er flytende <strong>f\u00f8r herding<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Den stivner via <strong>varmeutl\u00f8st tverrbinding<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Typiske st\u00f8petemperaturer: <strong>160\u2013200 \u00b0C<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Etter herding oppf\u00f8rer LSR seg som all annen silikongummi \u2013 intet smeltepunkt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>S\u00e5 n\u00e5r databladene viser \u201cprosesseringstemperatur\u201d, har det tallet <strong>ikke noe<\/strong> \u00e5 gj\u00f8re med smelteatferd i bruk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Silikon vs. termoplast: Hvorfor sammenligningen mislykkes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Kj\u00f8pere sammenligner ofte silikon med materialer som PVC, TPU eller TPE og forventer et smeltepunktstall som:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul <strong>kompresjonssett<\/strong> under varme?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Disse svarene bestemmer materialvalg \u2013 ikke en smeltepunktverdi som ikke eksisterer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure
